Proposition N Passes! Thank You Normandy Community for Your Support!

Proposition N, the zero-tax-rate-increase bond proposal, was approved by voters in the April 4th election. The bond issue will provide $23 million to build a new school, new science/math labs and libraries at Jefferson and Washington Elementary schools, and improve the learning environments for students throughout the district. Stay tuned for opportunities to learn more about the plans for the new school and other improvements to come! Pearson Receives Outstanding New Superintendent Award

Dr. Charles Pearson, Normandy Superintendent of Schools, is among eight Missouri superintendents recognized by the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) for outstanding performance as a new superintendent. Pearson received the award March 29 at the MASA Spring Conference. For more information, click here.

Friends of Normandy Scholarship Gala May 6

The Friends of Normandy Foundation Scholarship Gala will be held 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday May 6 at the UMSL Millennium Center. Tickets ar $50 each and proceeds go to support scholarship for deserving Normandy graduates. For more information, visit the FON page or call 314-493-0402. 


Save the Date: Summer School Enrollment Now Open

Enroll your child today for Normandy's Summer School program, JumpStart! This program, which runs from June 6 to July 11, is a FREE enrichment program designed to help students be prepared for the next school year with hands-on coursework in science, math, reading, and English Language Arts. Transportation and meals are provided. There are also incentives for students and parents to attend (Gift cards! Tablets! and More). Normandy Selected for Regional 'What's Right' Honor

The Normandy Schools Collaborative has been awarded the Focus St. Louis  2017 What’s Right with the Region Award. The Collaborative was recognized in the category, Fostering Regional Cooperation, for having “brought entities together to create a new synergy and improve efficiency and effectiveness.” For the complete story, click here.

ICYMI - Normandy, 24:1 Featured on 'Pulse of St. Louis' TV Program

Normandy Superintendent Dr. Charles Pearson, Jefferson Elementary Principal Tina Clark-Scott were joined by Beyond Housing CEO & President Chris Krehmeyer and Cool Valley Mayor Viola Murphy for a recent taping of the public affairs program on KPLR-TV/Ch. 11. Normandy APR Scores Continue Upward Trend

DESE recently released the state's Annual Performance Report with Normandy's score landing in the 'Provisionally Accredited' range! St. Louis Regional Business Council Awards $25K Grant to Normandy

The St. Louis RBC recently held a press conference to award the final round of grants to several small businesses and four school districts in North St. Louis County. The event received media coverage from local outlets and featured a performance by the Normandy High School quartet, Inner Harmony.
