Our Mission

The Normandy School District will provide a quality education for all students by creating a learning community with high expectations for academic achievement.

Honor Society Inducts Nine

Nine students from Normandy High School can add to their scholastic resumes National Honor Society (NHS).  The students - Victoria Billups, Ciera Davis, Rena Dixon, Kewanee Fowler, Mark Johnson, Shelon Knox, Dionna McKinney, Daniel McRath, and Kadesha Zimmerman - were recently inducted into the prestigious organization.

Students inducted in the NHS must display success in academics as well as traits of the organization's virtues of knowledge, scholarship, leadership, character and service.  Requirements for the Normandy High chapter of the NHS also include the student maintaining a 3.0 or better grade point average, belonging to a minimum of three on campus or community organizations, completing 20 hours of community service and having recommendations from two instructors.  They must maintain these requirements annually, throughout their NHS membership.
